Big Thursday on the Aloha Spirit. 16 passengers came home with 15 white seabass, 4 yellowtail, 3 halibut, 48 calico bass, 6 sheephead, 5 sculpin and a barracuda. Nearly a seabass per rod, plus some real halibut in the mix.
The seabass bite has been steady all month. The boat put 14 on the deck on 10/9 and 12 more on 10/8, so this is not a one day fluke.
