Operator questions, answered
Does Fish City take a commission on bookings?
No. Fish City never takes a percentage of your trips. You keep 100% of your booking revenue. We charge a flat subscription for the tools and nothing on the trip itself.
What do I get without paying anything?
A listing you control for your boat, landing, or shop, your fish counts and reports published where anglers plan trips, dockside QR codes, followers and push notifications, Instagram import, and your own site on a fishcity.app address. No card and no setup fee.
My boat is already on Fish City. Why?
Fish City compiles the catch counts California boats file at their landings, so active boats appear with their public numbers. Claiming the listing lets you manage the page, add photos and trip details, and reach the anglers already following your counts.
Do I need a credit card to try Pro?
Yes. Starting the 30 day Pro trial collects a card, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. You can cancel any time before then. The Free tier needs no card at all.
