After a few weeks off the water, the Blue Ocean Sportfishing crew finally got the jigs out in the right water on Sunday and made it count. They ran past the fleet to find some clean air, and 30 minutes after the jigs went in they had a wahoo in the box.

That makes it the angler's second wahoo ever and the first one departing from San Diego. It came out of Baja water, but the crew is still claiming it for the local wahoo niño hashtag. A memory shared with @roonatuna.
