Today was a special one and will remember this trip for the rest of my life and tell its story for many years to come. Full circle moment for me as my father worked deck for Captain Joe Caciola in the early 80’s aboard the Matt Walsh and then the Sea Star which he still owns and operates to this day! My first days on a Sportboat early on were also with Joe and the Sea Star. Joe gave us a call last week to come out today for a family and friends of the Sea Star trip to take advantage of this El Niño fishing that we don’t have during an average year in Southern California. Unfortunate timing as my Dad is out of town and could not make it, but I needed to go on this trip! Great memories with the boys today from outstanding tuna fishing to a Wahoo on the way home!
