Fish City roundup

Friday's a go for tuna

October 23, 2026

Light wind and a manageable swell keep today easy on the water. Wind stays forecast around 8 mph out of the NW with swell near 3.7 ft, and that combination is what makes this a GO day.

Yellowfin tuna lead the bite and the trend is rising, with skipjack and bullet tuna also climbing. Calico bass and yellowtail are showing too, both trending up.

Get out early on the morning tide and work the tuna while the wind stays down. Conditions build toward evening, so plan your run before then.
