Fish City roundup· Malihini
Tonight: 409 anglers, yellowfin tuna on top
Fish City roundup
San Diego · November 3, 2026
Wind stays light and swell holds near 4 feet at the Point Loma buoy tonight, but the call for San Diego sharpens up on Wednesday with manageable wind and a cleaner swell read, good enough for a GO. Thursday and Friday slide to mixed as wind ticks up, so don't wait past Wednesday if you want the better window.
Yellowfin tuna lead the bite at 5.7 fish per angler and climbing, with skipjack tuna right behind at 2.7 and also rising. Dorado are smaller in numbers but trending up fast too.
Load up on tuna gear and leave early Wednesday morning to beat the midday wind build.
