Fish City roundup
San Diego · November 4, 2026
The San Diego put up 6.4 fish per angler on a full day offshore, the best mark in the fleet, and skipjack tuna led the way. At the Point Loma buoy, wind sits light out of the east at 2 mph with a 3.3 ft swell, calm enough to fish now. Skipjack tuna are rising fast, up to 5.6 per angler fleet wide, and yellowfin tuna are rising too at 3.7 per angler.
Thursday and Friday both carry a GO call with wind in the 9 mph range, good enough to run offshore. Saturday turns excellent with light north wind and a strong solunar bite window.
Load up on yellowfin and skipjack gear and get a line in near sunrise for the best shot.
