Garibaldi Charters Tackle

Garibaldi Charters has run sportfishing out of Tillamook Bay since around 1970 — second-generation family-owned by Captain Tamara and her husband Ty, who took over from founder Captain Mick (Tamara's father) after roughly twenty years at the wheel.

The fleet covers three boats: the 43-foot Norwester (twin Cat 3208s, 21 anglers licensed), the 43-foot Alaska Sunrise (twin Cat 3208s, 22 licensed), and the 36-foot D&D (425-hp Cummins, 17 licensed). Trip menu spans light-tackle bottomfish at $175, deep-reef lingcod and rockfish at $235, long-leader rockfish at $235 (an Oregon-specific regulation-driven technique), halibut at $400 for 12 hours, albacore tuna at $400 open-party for 12 hours, plus salmon, combo trips, bay clamming, whale watching, and eco-tours.
