New Seaforth: Two White Seabass and Six Yellowtail on Monday's Half Days

San Diego · October 12, 2026

New Seaforth · Seaforth Sportfishing

Yellowtail and a nice white seabass came over the rail on the New Seaforth on both Monday half days. Definitely some opportunity out there right now.

The AM trip fished 34 anglers for 35 bonito, 4 sand bass, 2 calico bass, a white seabass and a yellowtail. The PM went better on the yellows: 37 anglers, 5 yellowtail, 1 white seabass, 15 sand bass and 8 bonito. The crew says come prepared with a 30 lb flyline setup, a dropper loop setup and a yo-yo setup.
