Fish City roundup
San Diego · October 7, 2026
Wind stays light and swell holds near 3 feet, so Thursday grades out as a GO. The Polaris Supreme put up 13.9 fish per angler today, led by yellowfin tuna, while calico bass and yellowtail keep trending up across the fleet.
Yellowfin numbers are sliding off their recent pace, but yellowtail and calico bass are climbing, so point gear that direction. Fish the morning major around sunrise, then again late morning, and leave the dock early to beat the building afternoon wind.
From the landing's count
| Yellowfin Tuna | 297 |
| Dorado | 4 |
| Yellowtail | 4 |
