Fish City roundup
San Diego · October 13, 2026
Wind backs off and swell settles for Saturday, which is why it scores a GO after a rough, windy Friday in between. At the Point Loma buoy this evening wind sits light at 3 mph with a 4.3 ft swell, but Friday brings 21 mph wind that kills the window before Saturday's 10 mph clears things up again.
Yellowfin tuna lead the bite and are rising fast, with Voyager topping the fleet at 6.4 fish per angler. Dorado and skipjack are climbing too.
Plan on Saturday morning for yellowfin and dorado. Skip Friday and wait out the wind.
