Tuesday's the day to go

San Diego · October 19, 2026

Pacific Voyager

Pacific Voyager put up 21.4 fish per angler on its 3 Day trip, and that kind of number lines up with calmer seas ahead. Wind eases to 8 mph Tuesday with a 3.0 ft swell, a clean setup after today's tight 0.7 mph wind and 4.3 ft swell at the Point Loma buoy. Wednesday and Thursday turn sloppy with wind near 17 mph, so the window is short.

Yellowfin tuna are rising fast, up to 3.5 per angler, with dorado and bullet tuna climbing too. Line up gear for yellowfin and dorado and plan to leave the dock Tuesday morning before the wind builds again later in the week.

San Diego · October 3, 2026
