Hookers and Blow

Hookers and Blow is the slow-pitch jigging specialty corner of Westport's tackle scene — a niche the rest of the marina's salmon-and-mooching shops mostly leave alone. Benjamin and Rebecca Nussbaum filed the LLC in April 2021, took over the existing kite store directly across from Float 12, and named the shop after their boat (the Reel Hooker) and the kites the building came with.

The hook for offshore anglers: slow-pitch jigs, hooks, Thrasher rods, and frozen bait, alongside on-the-counter coaching for crews still figuring out the technique. The kite wall and garden spinners share the floor — that's why the sign reads the way it does. Big blue building, hard to miss.
