Fishermen's Hardware

Fishermen's Hardware has been at 16942 Gothard in Huntington Beach since 1991 — a family-owned independent run by Jim Miltenberger, well inland from the harbor and not landing-attached, which means the customer is here for product or service rather than a bait-and-go before a charter.

Rod brands on the wall span the West Coast saltwater standard (Calstar, Phenix, Daiwa, Cousins, Shimano, Okuma) for both salt and freshwater. The bench builds custom rods to spec and — distinct from most tackle shops — runs rod repairs on any brand, not just the rods they sell. Live and frozen bait stocked.
