Redondo Sportfishing has run trips out of King Harbor since 1956. The landing operates from 140 International Boardwalk at the base of the Redondo Beach Pier and runs four U.S. Coast-Guard-inspected vessels.
Fleet
The fleet breaks down by role:
- Redondo Special — 65 by 20, the half-day workhorse, licensed to 49 passengers, run by Captain Morgon Richards.
- Pescador — 50 by 17, the full-day boat, "a solid sport fishing vessel with an uncanny ability to locate fish" per the operator, under Captains Jacob Moreno and Mikey Jimenez.
- Navegante — also 65 by 20, the multi-day platform, with Captains Jacob Moreno and Mike Jimenez.
- Betty G — a 35-footer captained by Anthony Le, "navigating the Southern California Coast for over 50 years."
Trip types
2026 bookable pricing, pulled from the landing's reservation system: Redondo Special half-day AM (7:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.) and half-day PM (1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.) both list at $60 with a 60-passenger cap; Pescador full-day (6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.) lists at $130 with a 20-passenger cap, and the first 10 reservations get a bunk. Betty G trip pricing, Navegante overnight pricing, and the twilight schedule are not currently surfaced through the booking system.

Recent catches are rockfish-heavy. The April 20, 2026 Redondo Special half-day put 18 anglers on 180 rockfish, 4 whitefish, and 3 sculpin. The landing's 2026 year-to-date tally stands at 5,439 ocean whitefish, 2,200 rockfish, 496 red snapper, 461 barred sand bass, 368 California scorpionfish, 288 kelp bass, 120 sheephead, 56 bocaccio, and 27 lingcod.
