Angler's Choice

Luc Ofield's Angler's Choice has sat on Rosecrans Street, about a mile from the Shelter Island landings, since 1996. The offshore selection — over 200 brands across the floor, heavy on saltwater reels, rods, and rod-building blanks and components — outweighs the freshwater aisle.

The shop is on Penn's official list of authorized warranty service centers and handles tackle parts and repairs in-house. Call ahead at (619) 223-2324 for license availability before a Coronados or Baja run out of the nearby landings.
