Seaforth Landing Tackle
About Seaforth Landing Tackle
Seaforth has been Mission Bay's sportfishing landing since 1960 — the only major one on this side of the channel, with free dock parking that the Shelter Island operations don't have. The tackle shop sits inside the landing at 1717 Quivira Rd and runs on its own line, (619) 224-5447. Doors open at 5 a.m., closing at 6 p.m.
The fleet that loads here covers half-day to seven-day: Aztec on the half-day run, Tribute (80') and Polaris Supreme on overnights, Apollo on the long-range bookings, and the 85-foot New Seaforth as the flagship. The counter handles California licenses at check-in alongside rod rentals; one Tripadvisor reviewer flagged frozen squid at $10 a tray as part of the standard pre-trip stop.
See the San Diego charter directory for the rest of the SD sportfishing fleet. See also: Fisherman's Landing Tackle and Dana Landing Market & Tackle.
