Bayside Marine
About Bayside Marine
Don and Barb Fraser ran Bayside Marine at the Santa Cruz Harbor as a family shop; their son Todd took over in 1999 after his mother passed. Todd has been at it 27 years since.
The fishing aisle is the bigger half of the floor — 375-plus rods, 110-plus reels, 200-plus big-game lures, and the SoCal-and-NorCal salmon lure set, alongside Cannon, Scotty, and Penn downriggers. The marine-supply side covers Interstate batteries, oil and gear lube, cables, and flares. Reel-repair bench services Penn, Shimano, and Daiwa for $20 to $35 plus parts.
Live anchovies are available at 3 a.m. on the S dock or near the fuel dock — staff direct halibut anglers north toward Davenport. Hours: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. See the California tackle directory. See also: Half Moon Bay Sportfishing & Tackle at Pillar Point and Bodega Tackle in Petaluma.
