Pierpoint Landing sits in Rainbow Harbor next to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. The landing sells fishing licenses, tackle, rod rentals, and snacks for anglers heading out, with parking adjacent to the docks (paid, by duration).

Fleet

The landing runs a three-boat fleet:

Toronado — a 75-foot, 29-passenger open-party boat running overnight, 1.5-day, 2-day, and 3.5-day island and offshore trips, plus private charters. Toronado books through its own site and reservation system.
City of Long Beach — a 65-foot, 80-passenger boat running AM half-day trips.
Enterprise — an 85-foot, 70-passenger boat running 3/4-day Catalina trips.

Trip types

Trips range from AM half-days close to Long Beach to 3/4-day runs out to Catalina, with the Toronado extending further to multi-day island and offshore trips (1.5, 2, and 3.5 days) and private charters. Reservations and current schedules are handled through Pierpoint Landing's online booking system, with the Toronado booking separately through its own site.
