Ventura Harbor Sportfishing operates from 1500 Anchors Way Drive under the business entity 976-TUNA.COM LLC, branded publicly as Ventura Sportfishing. Skipper Tucker McCombs acquired the landing in 2019 and has expanded the fleet and modernized operations since; the website notes its boats have "been fishing these waters for over 60 years," consistent with the 1963 harbor opening.
Fleet
The current fleet runs four to six vessels from 38 to 70 feet. Core boats:
- Island Spirit — 70 by 22 feet, the landing's largest, half-day trips under Captain Cody Rogers
- Californian — 65 by 20 feet, full-day trips under Captain Cody Rogers
- Endeavor — 60 by 20 feet, owned and operated by Captain Tucker McCombs; 22 air-conditioned bunks and a full galley serving up to 24 on overnight and multi-day trips
- Pacific Eagle — 55 by 19 feet, full-day and overnight under Captain Mike Mings
