Morro Bay Landing operates at 1215 Embarcadero, Suite A, on Morro Bay's working waterfront. Rather than running a single branded fleet, the landing aggregates multiple independently owned and captained vessels — Avenger, Endeavor, Flying Fish, Patriot, Starfire, and Captain Stew's Bay Cruise among them — under one booking operation. Standard trip menu spans 6-hour half-days, 8-hour three-quarter-days, 10-hour full-days, and the Patriot's 12-hour Cape San Martin run.

Fleet

The aggregated fleet runs across several owners:

  • Endeavor — 55-foot, 40-passenger boat with a full galley; runs the 12-hour Cape San Martin trip.
  • Patriot — 55-foot, 39-passenger boat owned and captained by Jay Gavin (deckhands Brad and Dustin); the only Central Coast vessel offering combined rockcod-and-crab trips, with a six-Dungeness take-home limit per angler.
  • Avenger — 65-by-19-foot, 49-passenger boat with 18 bunks for overnight trips, run by Captains Ryan French and Brad Cano under Patriot Sportfishing, Inc.
  • Starfire — 55-foot, 35-passenger boat under Captain/owner Sal Rocha.
  • Flying Fish — runs in the half-day rotation alongside Endeavor, Avenger, Starfire, and Patriot.
  • Sunny Day — premium-tier vessel running half-day and three-quarter-day trips at higher pricing.
Trip types

Target species across the menu include black, blue, and vermilion rockfish, bocaccio, olive rockfish, lingcod, cabezon, and greenlings, with daily limits of 10 rockcod and 2 lingcod. Per-angler 2026 ticket rates from the landing's live booking system: $93.42 for the 6-hour AM/PM half-day (Endeavor, Avenger, Starfire, Patriot, Flying Fish), $114.18 for the 8-hour three-quarter-day, $145.32 for the 10-hour full-day, and $166.08 for the Patriot's 12-hour run. Sunny Day premium pricing runs $197.22 for half-days and $311.40 for three-quarter-days. Add-ons: $15 rod-and-reel rental, $10 tackle setup.
